Burma – Waiting room on Pansodan Jetty, Rangoon
Most of the trading exchange in the Republic of Myanmar relies on water transportation. The Irrawaddy river flows southward from the very north of the country for about 2,200 kilometres, being the major river in the country. It eventually flows into the Indian Ocean, generating an enormous delta where the Burmese people grow the major part of the country’s rice supply.
