Beauty often lays in simple things. There is no such a thing as an Italian house in a small and provincial village. Heavy stone walls protect the inside. The smell of tomatoes and onions spreads from the kitchen window and passing by  you sense the scents of fresh basil and thyme. An entire world is hidden behind a simple curtain. Cooking is the main social activity among Italian families. Everyday people are brought together by the act of cooking food and sitting around the same table.
